How does a travel health consultation work at Blackrockmeds?

You complete a short questionnaire online. A registered pharmacist reviews your responses, usually within one working day, and prepares a personalised plan. Treatment, if appropriate, is dispensed from our Blackrock pharmacy.

When should I seek help for travel health?

If symptoms are persistent, worsening, or affecting your daily life, speak to a pharmacist. We will refer to your GP whenever a clinical examination or prescription outside our scope is needed.

Where is treatment dispensed from?

Every prescription is dispensed from our pharmacy in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. We deliver in plain packaging nationwide or you can collect in branch.

How long until I get a response?

Most consultations are reviewed within one working day. Urgent queries are flagged and prioritised by the on-duty pharmacist.
