Buscopan contains hyoscine butylbromide, an antispasmodic for the relief of stomach cramps, gastrointestinal and urinary tract spasm, and the symptoms of IBS.

- Adults and children 12+: 2 tablets four times daily
- Not for children under 6 years
- Contraindicated in glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, megacolon
- Avoid in pregnancy as a precaution
- HYOSCINE BUTYLBROMIDE | An antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscle in the gastrointestinal and urinary tract to relieve cramps and spasm.
Adults and children 12+: 2 tablets (20mg) four times daily. For IBS: start with 1 tablet three times daily, increase if needed. Children 6-11: 1 tablet three times daily.
Hyoscine butylbromide 10mg
Hypersensitivity to hyoscine butylbromide. Glaucoma. Myasthenia gravis. Megacolon or paralytic ileus. Caution in patients with urinary retention, rapid heart rate, or autonomic neuropathy. Not for children under 6 years.
