Lemsip contains paracetamol 1000mg and phenylephrine, a decongestant, plus guaifenesin to help relieve chesty cough, for the relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, blocked nose, headache and sore throat.Key facts: Active ingredients: Paracetamol 1000mg, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Guaifenesin 200mg Adults and children 12+; not for younger children Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products Not for use with MAOIs or within 14 days of stopping an MAOI
Adults and children 12+: dissolve 1 sachet in hot water and drink every 4-6 hours. Maximum 4 sachets in 24 hours.
