Motilium contains domperidone, an antiemetic and prokinetic used to relieve nausea and vomiting in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over (weighing at least 35kg).

- DOMPERIDONE | A dopamine antagonist that reduces nausea and vomiting by blocking receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and increasing gastrointestinal motility.
Adults and adolescents 12+ (35kg+): 10mg up to three times daily. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed. Maximum 3 days without medical advice.
Domperidone 10mg
Hypersensitivity to domperidone. Not for children under 12 or under 35kg. Prolactinoma. Gastro-intestinal haemorrhage or obstruction. Moderate to severe hepatic impairment. Concomitant use of QT-prolonging drugs (including ketoconazole, erythromycin, clarithromycin, amiodarone, sotalol, escitalopram, citalopram) or potent CYP3A4 inhibitors. Caution with cardiovascular disease, QTc prolongation, electrolyte disturbances, or in patients over 60.
