Panadol contains paracetamol, used for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, period pain, muscular aches) and to reduce fever.
Key facts:
- Active ingredient: Paracetamol 500mg per tablet
- Adults and children 12+: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours
- Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing product
- For short-term use; speak to a pharmacist if symptoms persist beyond a few days
- PARACETAMOL | Reduces fever and relieves mild to moderate pain by acting on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centres.
Adults and children 12 years and over: swallow 1-2 tablets with water 3-4 times a day as needed. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
