Viaredin 50 mg film-coated tablets are indicated in adult men with erectile dysfunction, meaning difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex. Sexual stimulation is required for Viaredin to be effective.

- Sildenafil | phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that helps blood flow into the penis during sexual stimulation
Take 1 tablet, as needed, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not take more than 1 tablet a day. It can be taken with or without food, but a high-fat meal may delay the start of its effect. If it does not work when taken as directed, talk to a doctor.
Sildenafil (as citrate)
Do not take if you are allergic to sildenafil, peanut or soya, take nitrates or nitric oxide donors (including amyl nitrite 'poppers'), riociguat or ritonavir, have been advised by a doctor to avoid sexual activity, have had a heart attack or stroke in the last 6 months, or have unstable angina, severe heart failure, a severe liver problem or blood pressure below 90/50 mmHg. Also do not take if you have had vision loss from NAION, have a hereditary eye disease such as retinitis pigmentosa, or have a penile deformity; not for women or under 18s.
